Hussain Sajwani’s Decision To Establish DAMAC Properties When He Did Was Brilliant

When billionaire Damac owner Hussain Sajwani began developing luxury property in Dubai, DAMAC Properties’ modern residential high rises helped to transform the emirate’s skyline. In 2001, the Dubai government announced that foreigners could now own property in the emirate; by 2002, Sajwani established DAMAC Properties, and he started building upscale homes for foreigners.

The Trump organization is managing the Trump International Course Dubai, which is located in the heart of DAMAC Properties’ Akoya community, surrounded by magnificent homes. How We Use Securus Technologies to Help Solve Crimes

While my background is in law enforcement and working in jails for the past three decades, recently I was assigned to a task force that was responsible for solving cold cases and getting these suspects into jail so they could face charges. The problem with these cold cases is that no one is willing to talk anymore for fear of the suspect coming after them. To make matters worse, as the years pass, so does the evidence and memory of any eye witnesses.

One case I was assigned this year was only a few months old, but the suspect was a higher-ranking gang member who was running things on the outside after he slipped past the guards and out of the jail. The only reason it was a cold case was because we assumed he was already in Mexico and never coming back. When we discovered he was still in Los Angeles, I needed to get all my other officers on board with a plan of attack.

One of the officers on the task force still works in our local jail, and informed me that Securus Technologies recently was working at the jail updating the inmate communication system and training officers on the LBS software. This was exactly what we needed in order to pick up on any chatter that was taking place inside the jail. Those gang members behind bars were still in contact with the suspect, and if we could catch wind of his movements we could position the team to take him down.

Listening in on one conversation between top officials in the gang, we discovered the suspect was on the move and going to be setting up a huge score in North California. Before he had a chance to even move, we surrounded the building and was able to bring him to justice.
